Dear Brighton YMCA staff and clients,

In the unprecedented times we live in, most of us have been following with understandable concern the developing situation in the UK and around the world regarding the Covid-19 global pandemic.

The wellbeing of our community and the continuity of our housing and support work is of paramount importance to us. This is why we are now working on encouraging social distancing wherever possible. We have suspended all training and classes, for staff as well as clients.
We did this to ensure the safeguarding of both staff and clients and we assure you that the decision to minimise social activity in the projects was taken with great reluctance.

Please rest assured that whilst Covid-19 remains such a potent threat it will be necessary to maintain the current restrictions.  Our housing and support stay open, albeit that it is necessary to do this in a much safer way.

I cannot thank our staff enough for their dedication. Without your support and commitment, we would not be able to continue to offer support to those most vulnerable within Brighton YMCA at this most challenging time.

Best wishes to you all and your families.

In the meantime please stay safe.
