Young professional versed in working with vulnerable women joins TEAM EVOLVE

Here at Brighton YMCA we are extremely proud of our fantastic staff. This is why we have started a series of postings to celebrate our staff – follow us at #BehindTheScenes on Twitter.

Today we would like to introduce Isabelle Carpenter. She is, together with Rose, our  newly recruited EVOLVE Coach.

Here is a little bit more about Issy, in her own words:

‘Hello! I am 21 years old and an Education, Volunteering, Vocational training, Employment coach. I’m very enthusiastic to help people reach their goals and get people active into volunteer roles or employment. I want to help build confidence and fill any empty time along with helping blossom peoples hobbies, interests and knowledge. I am looking forward to bringing  energy and dedication to my Work and Learning role.’

‘I am creative and hope to bring forward some exciting and interesting workshops. I have traveled around Asia a lot and worked in the Philippines with vulnerable women, I have also taught English in Vietnam and handmade my own  Teepee and lived and traveled in it around the Spanish coast.’

‘I enjoy keeping fit and healthy, arts and music.’

We are delighted to welcome Issy to our team. Her creative energy, enthusiasm and diverse skills are a wonderful addition to EVOLVE’s really talented team.
