YMCA volunteers enjoyed professional Square Lemon Training
Our hospitality volunteers joined in with our staff to learn more about food hygiene with Square Lemon Training.
Square Lemon Training provided a professional Level 2 Food Hygiene course to all Breakfast Club volunteers from George Williams Centre and William Collier House as well as some of our staff, on the 7th of June this year.
Everyone gained the L2 certificate and thus refreshed their knowledge on all aspects of food hygiene. All enjoyed the lively set up of the course as well as the breath of information, covering all from legislation to main principles of food storage and essential equipment.
The course was provided just in time for William Collier House, who are getting ready to launch their own Breakfast Club.
George Williams Centre’s Work and Learning Coordinator Will Vaughan said:
‘We learned a lot over the course of the day and everyone left feeling confident and informed having enjoyed the training session.’
